oh no not another browser...
web designers of the world begin to worry
After playing with web browsers for a good few years with their toolbars and add ons google have finally took a step too far.
I hope this doesn't affect my search engine positioning but I for one think this is a sign Google are starting to abuse their God like status within the web world.
The reasons I'm hearing for the browser being built is the frustration Google have had with their own products such as Gmail performing poorly with other popular browsers. Which in my mind is an abuse on power.
All that said Google have some of the top web minds on board and if I had an unlimited budget and I had to choose a company to develop something web related it would be Google.
I have downloaded Google Chrome and have tested websites I have created and all is fine so far. Which I'm sure won't be the case for everyone unfortunately.
Initially my reaction was that of despair but as with all things technology related we have to move on and maybe Google will help push things forward.
Bring it on! but please no more browsers.
